The Role

The Technical Bid Analyst will support the preparation of technical proposals for public and private tenders, working under the direction of the Tender Specialist and in close collaboration with Managers and Account Executives. This role focuses on analysing tender requirements, assessing technical feasibility, anticipating implementation and execution risks, and contributing to the drafting or detailed review of technical documentation.
In addition, the role may require conducting product demonstrations for evaluators or internal stakeholders when technically relevant to the tender process.
This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position designed to ensure that Factorial delivers accurate, compliant, and competitive technical submissions.


Key Responsibilities

Tender Analysis & Requirement Breakdown

  • Review tender documents, technical annexes, KPIs, SLAs, and functional specifications.

  • Identify technical requirements, integration expectations, performance constraints, and dependencies.

  • Produce structured technical summaries and internal checklists for validation.

  • Assist in feasibility assessments based on Factorial’s platform capabilities and product roadmap.

Technical Proposal Drafting & Review

  • Draft or refactor sections of the technical proposal under the supervision of the Tender Specialist.

  • Perform detailed technical reviews of existing drafts to ensure:

    • Compliance with mandatory requirements

    • Technical accuracy and coherence

    • Alignment with platform capabilities and implementation processes

    • Consistency across technical, functional, and performance sections

  • Contribute to architecture descriptions, integration outlines, security narratives, KPI/SLA frameworks, and implementation overviews.

Implementation & Execution Risk Assessment

  • Support the identification of risks related to integrations, data migration, configuration complexity, performance, or technical dependencies.

  • Document assumptions, constraints, and mitigation strategies for internal approval.

  • Flag early indicators of delivery or feasibility risks to the Tender Specialist and technical teams.

KPI & SLA Feasibility Validation

  • Analyse and interpret KPI and SLA requirements from tender specifications.

  • Validate their viability against current operational capabilities and service models.

  • Identify gaps and propose adjustments or clarifications when needed.

  • Support the creation of measurable indicators for inclusion in the offer.

Product Demonstrations (Demos)

  • Conduct technical platform demos when required during the tender process.

  • Adapt demos to specific tender scenarios, use cases, and evaluation criteria.

  • Prepare demo scripts, flows, and configurations tailored to each opportunity.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Liaise with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Support, and Onboarding teams to gather required inputs.

  • Collect architecture diagrams, security documentation, performance data, and validated technical content.

  • Assist in preparing responses for technical clarification rounds (Q&A).

Documentation & Process Support

  • Maintain and update libraries of reusable content, technical templates, diagrams, KPI/SLA frameworks, and standard narratives.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of technical bid processes.

  • Ensure documentation remains aligned with product updates and new functionalities.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in technical documentation, technical bid support, pre-sales engineering, or similar technical roles.

  • Solid understanding of SaaS environments, APIs, integrations, architecture concepts, and configuration models.

  • Ability to interpret complex technical requirements, KPIs, and SLAs.

  • Strong analytical, writing, and information-structuring skills.

  • Ability to work under guidance and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

  • Experience conducting demos or technical presentations is a plus.

  • Professional proficiency in Spanish and Catalan, and working knowledge of English (required).

  • Experience with HRIS/HCM systems is an advantage.
