Role Overview:

The Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the data used for platform setup, initial Go-Live, and historical data imports is accurate, consistent, and aligned with client requirements. This role focuses on data validation, data quality checks, and analytics to support decision-making in the data onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Validation and Cleansing:

    Review data for inconsistencies or errors, correcting any issues before data entry or migration.

    Ensure data integrity and quality by running validation checks on client-provided data.

    Perform regular audits on data to maintain its accuracy and completeness.

    Data Analysis
    Use data analysis techniques to examine data sets for trends, patterns, and anomalies
    Generate reports and dashboards to track data accuracy, completeness, and any discrepancies during data onboarding.

    Reporting and Insights:
    Prepare data quality reports for internal stakeholders, showing the status of data preparation and readiness for Go-Live.
    Provide actionable insights to support decision-making in the data loading process.
    Collaboration:

    Work closely with Data Engineers and Business Analysts to ensure that data is structured according to business requirements.

    Communicate any data quality issues or concerns to the Data Onboarding Lead and suggest solutions.

    Data Templates and Guidelines:

    Develop and maintain data templates for clients, ensuring that data is provided in the correct format for entry or migration.
    Create data guidelines that outline best practices for data submission.

    Data Quality Improvements:

    Proactively identify areas for improving data quality and suggest process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

    Develop strategies for ongoing data cleansing to keep the system up to date post-Go-Live.

Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Google Sheets, Power BI).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling large datasets.
  • Knowledge of data quality assurance processes and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in data structuring and validation.
  • Basic understanding of SaaS platforms and how data is structured within them.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data validation, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with data management tools and practices.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms is a plus.
